We are looking for a Quality Operations & Excellence Director based in Blieskastel to lead the End-to-End transformation of our Operations Quality across the Group. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our industrial performance, Quality digitalization journey, and continuous improvement ambitions.
Your mission:
You will lead and shape Operations Quality at scale, ensuring excellence in execution while building the systems, methodologies, and insights that drive sustainable performance. You will play a key role in embedding a zero-defect mindset, strengthening risk management, and accelerating digitalization across our global operations.
Key responsibilities
Lead and transform Operations Quality
- Define and deploy the global Operations Quality strategy, driving performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Foster a strong quality culture, mobilizing diverse teams across multiple sites and reporting lines
- Drive risk management and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction
Elevate manufacturing & logistics quality performance
- Lead the transformation from local performance to global excellence across 20+ sites
- Partner closely with Plant Managers and Logistics leaders to secure quality performance
- Deploy harmonized processes, tools, and digital solutions across factories and warehouses
- Ensure robust handover from project to operations and strong supplier quality performance
Drive Quality Excellence & digital transformation
- Lead and govern end-to-end quality methodologies, processes, and standards
- Accelerate continuous improvement, capability building, and knowledge sharing
- Leverage advanced data analytics to drive performance insights
- Co-lead the digital transformation of Quality, shaping tools, data governance and end-to-end flows
Contribute to strategic roadmaps
- Define and align the Operations Quality and Digital roadmap with business priorities
- Contribute to the Group Q&E roadmap and major transformation initiatives
- Support key projects and teams to deliver on function commitments
Your Profile
- Engineer / Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, or a comparable technical discipline.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments, including responsibility for international and multi-site operations. Proven experience leading Quality organizations in complex industrial settings and driving performance improvements across plants, warehouses, and supply chain operations.
- Proven track record as a Quality leader in high-standard industrial environments, with strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, risk management, continuous improvement, and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, translating business objectives into actionable quality roadmaps while maintaining a strong customer focus and effectively managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to influence, engage, develop, and align diverse stakeholders across functions, cultures, geographies, and reporting lines within a matrix organization.
- Fluent in English (C1 level or above); French and German are a plus. Experience working in international environments and leading global transformation initiatives, including digitalization and operational excellence programs, is highly desirable.
