What You Will Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and reliability‑improving actions
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate documentation (maintenance logs, schedules, parts inventory)
- Support and collaborate with production, engineering, and junior team members
What About You
- You have a technical background (PEO Level 2, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, or an engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing)
- You have proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- You are confident working hands‑on with mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems
- You have strong problem‑solving skills and can read technical drawings and schematics
- You are organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable using IT tools (Microsoft Office, Teams, Web Shops)
- You have the physical capability and practical experience required for tooling, repair activities, and safe operation of forklift/MEWP/working at height
