We are currently looking for our futureSourcing Sustainability Specialist (m/f/d) based in Blieskastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.
As a Sourcing Sustainability Specialist (m/f/d), you will drive the deployment of Hager Group’s sustainability ambitions within Sourcing. With your passion for sustainability, you will help develop, implement, and continuously improve the Sustainable Sourcing Strategy. Working closely with global and local stakeholders, you will ensure that sustainability becomes a true value creator across our supply base.
Your mission
- Drive sustainable sourcing initiatives that enhance supplier performance, product compliance, cost efficiency, and quality
- Develop and advance the sustainable sourcing roadmap in collaboration and alignment with global and local stakeholders
- Act as a key sustainability advisor, promoting best practices, tools, and emerging technologies
- Lead and support sustainability projects, ensure alignment with Hager Group standards, and monitor evolving regulatory and market trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing sustainability performance through processes, master data, tools, and supplier engagement
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Strong experience in sustainability, ideally combined with knowledge of strategic sourcing or supply chain management
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus. Knowledge of PowerBI is beneficial
- Proven track record implementing sustainability strategies and converting them into actionable programs
- Deep understanding of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, disclosure standards, and reporting methodologies
- Fluency in English; German or French is an advantage
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proactive, structured mindset with a strong motivation to create positive impact
