We are currently looking for our futureGroup Product Manager Protection & Advanced Control (m/f/d)based in Blieskastel for a permanentcontract.

As a Group Product Manager Protection & Advanced Control (m/f/d) at Hager, you will take holistic responsibility for products and solutions within your portfolio. You will act as an “entrepreneur within the company” and ensure that your portfolio develops successfully in the market.

Your mission

Based on this mindset and attitude, your responsibilities will include, for example, the following activities:

• Close follow-up on revenue, profitability, and growth of the respective portfolio (analog and digital timers, twilight switches and dimmers, energy managers), as well as reviewing and validating the business model and product life cycles
• Close collaboration with the engineering department, defining product requirements, approving specifications and participating in project developments
• Leading a cross-functional team within a matrix organization (incl. markets, sourcing, engineering, quality, supply chain, production ...)
• Gathering and consolidating international market insights and market trends together with the sales team and other marketing departments
• Applying agile methods and ways of thinking to achieve targeted results
• Maintaining a holistic perspective while also focusing on details when necessary (zoom-in / zoom-out capability)
• Defining value propositions based on customer feedback, customer-centric development methods, and customer satisfaction evaluations

In addition, you will represent your portfolio and the product management team in cross-functional and cross-regional development programs and milestone meetings.

Your profile

• Successfully completed degree in a technical or business-related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering), ideally with a focus on Product Management, or a comparable qualification
• Know-how in Smart Home application areas and knowledge of new technologies (IoT, Matter) would be an advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in product management is desirable
• You have both technical and business understanding, enabling you to create maximum value for our customers
• You are a strong communicator, a team player, and have a goal-oriented way of working
• A confident presence and assertiveness are among your strengths
• Affinity for entrepreneurial and business-related topics
• Willingness to travel and flexibility
• Fluent English language skills, written and spoken. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an advantage.
