Your Role:

As a Country Finance & Accounting Specialist (m/f/d), reporting to the Finance Manager Northern & Eastern Region you will be based in Sweden and act as the key finance representative for our Swedish entities.

In this role, you will support the management of local finance activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Hager Group standards.

Working closely with local stakeholders, regional finance teams, and our Shared Services Center, you will contribute to the effective execution of financial processes and support the ongoing development of our finance organization.

This position offers a broad scope across financial operations, governance, compliance, and business support while providing exposure to regional and international finance initiatives.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted finance partner for local stakeholders and support financial decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with local financial, legal, and regulatory requirements as well as Hager Group policies.

• Coordinate and supervise key finance processes in collaboration with our Shared Services Center and regional finance teams.

• Support accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, and governance activities where required.

• Contribute to the preparation of statutory and management reporting.

• Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal control activities.

• Participate in finance transformation, process improvement, and digitalization initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant finance operations.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen governance, and support business performance.

• Contribute to local, regional, and Group-wide finance projects.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or financial management.

• Good understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Experience in an international environment and collaboration across multiple stakeholders is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive and collaborative working style.

• Ability to work independently while managing a broad range of responsibilities.

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Fluency in Swedish and English.
