We are currently looking for our futurePlant Quality Manager (m/f/d)based in La Roca for a permanent contract.
Mission
As Plant Quality Manager, you will lead the local Quality team and ensure the highest quality standards across our existing product portfolio as well as new product introductions. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a culture of quality excellence, and contribute to the plant's operational performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Plant Quality team, promoting a strong quality mindset across the organization.
- Ensure product and process quality for both existing products and new product launches.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO and VDA standards and company requirements.
- Drive problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure effective follow-up of corrective actions.
- Analyze quality performance indicators and initiate improvement plans to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.
- Be the contact point for the Group Quality department.
- Lead the implementation of Hager Group quality tools and requirements in the site and be the support for the Plant Manager to successfully apply the Group standards, including the development of the yearly Quality Improvement Plan.
Profile
- Several years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality tools and methodologies (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3,Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with a structured and data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change across different functions and organizational levels.
- Fluent in English.
